How Trading Bots Reinvest Profits: A Real Two-Day Example
How a Trading Bot Grows Its Own Trades: A Real Two-Day Example
One of the questions I get most often from new members is: "How does a trading bot actually build momentum over time?" People want to understand the mechanics. They're not looking for hype or promises—they want to see how the system works in practice.

https://jonnyblockchain.comSo I want to walk you through a real example from one of our members. This happened over just two days, and it's a perfect window into how a JonnyBlockchain Spot Bot can reinvest its own profits as it trades. I'm sharing this anonymously, with the member's permission, because it shows something important about how small, repeated wins can add up when you let them compound.
The Setup
The member in this example set up a Spot Bot on the PEPE token with a starting lot size of 12 USDT. The bot was configured to buy and sell automatically based on a profit trigger—meaning it would purchase at the current market price, wait for the price to rise enough to hit that profit target, and then sell the entire position.
Here's the thing that makes this interesting: when the bot sold that first trade at a profit, instead of sitting on the cash, the member had the bot configured to reinvest the full amount from that sale into the next purchase. This is where compounding starts to happen.
What Happened Over Two Days
During the two-day window, the bot completed five consecutive sales. Each time, the price moved in the bot's favour, and it closed a profitable trade. The profits were small—we're talking a few cents per trade—but they were consistent.
Here's where it gets interesting. With each sale, the bot had a slightly larger amount to work with. That first 12 USDT sale profit got added to the next purchase, so the second lot was slightly bigger. Then that profit got added to the third purchase. And so on.
By the fifth sale, the bot's lot size had grown from the initial 12 USDT to just over 12.5 USDT. Not a massive jump, but a meaningful one—and it happened automatically, over just two days, simply by reinvesting the profits from each trade.
Why This Matters
This is the foundation of compounding. You're not reinventing wealth or multiplying money magically. What you're doing is taking small, consistent wins and letting each one feed into the next cycle. The bot starts with 12 USDT, makes a small profit, uses that profit to buy slightly more in the next trade, makes another small profit on a slightly larger amount, and repeats.
Over a very short time window like two days, the growth looks modest. But the principle is sound. If a bot can find profitable trades consistently over weeks or months, and you're reinvesting the profits each time, the compounding effect becomes more visible.
That's why we built the Compounding Tool into JonnyBlockchain. Members can automate this process completely. Instead of manually reinvesting profits, the bot handles it. You set it up once, and it works for you as long as market conditions allow profitable trades.
Important Context About This Example
I need to be clear about something: this was a very short, very smooth example. During those two days, the price of PEPE happened to rise, so the bot never needed to add a second lot to any trade. It just bought once, sold at a profit, and repeated. That's not always how it works.
In a different scenario, or with a different token, a bot might buy its first lot at one price, then the price might fall, so the bot buys a second lot at the lower price to lower its average, and then waits for the price to rise enough to sell both lots together. That can take days, or even longer. Or the price might drop below the purchase point and the bot might keep adding to the position until it finally rises enough to hit the profit target. Every trade, every token, and every market condition is different.
PEPE is a highly volatile token. I'm using it here as an example only—not a recommendation. Some tokens are more stable, some are more volatile. The settings you choose, the amount you start with, the profit trigger you set, and the market conditions all affect how your bot performs. There's no guarantee of results, and past performance doesn't predict the future.
The Fees You Need to Know
One more important detail: JonnyBlockchain charges a Software Service Fee of 25% on every profitable trade. In the example above, that fee was taken from the profits before the reinvestment happened. This is how we stay transparent—you see exactly how much the bot made, and you see exactly what fee was charged. There's no hidden cost or surprise deduction later.
How to Learn More
If you want to understand how the Compounding Tool works, or how to configure your bot's settings to reinvest profits, we've built a free library of video guides at https://jonnyblockchain.com/user-guide. You can watch the Compounding Tool video, the Bot Settings videos, and the videos about how DCA works. All of it is free before you even create an account.
We've also built the Virtual Trading Simulator so you can test strategies with fake money before you risk anything real. You can try different lot sizes, different profit triggers, different tokens—whatever you want to experiment with—and see how the bot behaves over time. It's a sandbox. No real money moves. This is how most members get comfortable with how the bots actually work.
The Bigger Picture
The reason I'm sharing this example is simple: trading bots can seem mysterious or intimidating if you've never used one. But the core idea is straightforward. A bot buys. It sells when it hits your profit target. The profit goes back into the next trade. Repeat. Small wins, when they're consistent and reinvested, do add up over time.
That doesn't mean every trade will win. It doesn't mean you'll get rich overnight. And it definitely doesn't mean you should throw money at it without understanding what you're doing first. But it does mean that if you set up a bot the right way, with reasonable settings, on a token that's liquid, you have a real chance at building passive income over time.
The best place to start is with the free resources. Watch the user guide videos. Try the Virtual Trading Simulator. Get comfortable with how the settings work. Then, if it feels right for you, create your free account and take the next step.
That's what this member did. And over two days, their bot did exactly what it was built to do: find trades, take small profits, and reinvest them automatically.
